The "Manyo no Uta Salt," salt made from deep sea water from Kumashi in Yakumo Town, Hokkaido, using the traditional flat pot method, is added to the chocolate together with almonds.
The mild, slightly sweet salt enhances the rich flavor of the chocolate and the fragrance of the almonds.
